The theme this year is Apothecary, a dream project I've been contemplating for a while. Embark with me on a journey of muted and moody tones and come discover your inner white witch!

PRE-ORDER / HOW DOES IT WORK?:

This is a pre-order listing for a Christmas Calendar type of Advent.
You will order today, and receive a carefully crafted Advent Calendar in November of 2026, where everyday during December, you can open and reveal a new 20gr mini skein, as well as a full 100gr skein on Christmas day!
Other little surprises will also be included in the advent, to make the wait for Christmas even more enticing, and all of it will be wrapped up in carefully curated packaging.

Note: This advent is being listed early, as I usually do each year, due to my many other role in life (2 other jobs + toddler mom). These advents usually take me a lot of time to accomplish and I want to pay attention and craft every little details properly, and prefer to do so at a slower pace year round.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING SHIPPING: 

Due to ongoing global uncertainty and rising fuel costs, it is currently very difficult to accurately estimate shipping rates for an item of this size and weight several months in advance. Rather than risk overcharging or underestimating these costs, I have chosen to calculate shipping closer to the dispatch date.

At checkout, you will see “free shipping” applied using the code APOTHECARY. This is simply a placeholder. In late October, once shipping rates have stabilised and can be assessed more reliably, you will receive a separate invoice for the exact shipping cost.

This 25-day advent is a slow unfolding — a fade of softened hues, each skein melting into the next like pressed petals and aged tinctures.
A palette of whispers: dried lavender, sage, earth, and ash.

Rooted in the language of the apothecary, this collection draws from the quiet power of herbalism and transformation. Each colour is inspired by dried botanicals, ground spices, and time-worn remedies — cinnamon bark, steeped mugwort, crushed petals, smoked resins. The tones are gentle and muted, built on a base of warm beiges, ash greys, and softened browns, layered with subtle washes of lavender, sage, and dusky mineral hues.

This is a tonal fade, carefully composed so that each skein holds a singular, unified colour story, enriched with delicate variations — soft overlays, overdyes, and fine speckles that echo the natural irregularity of plant matter and pigment. Rather than contrast, this advent embraces harmony: each shade flows seamlessly into the next, creating a continuous, meditative gradient.

Designed as a circular fade, the sequence loops gently onto itself. There is no true beginning, no fixed end — you may start wherever you feel called, allowing your making to follow intuition rather than structure. The colours will carry you effortlessly forward, blending and shifting like a slow infusion.

DELIVERY TIME:

This is a Christmas Advent Calendar which you will receive sometime in November, so that it is available for the month of December 2026. Overseas purchases will be shipped earlier to ensure delivery on time.

SKEIN/CAKE:

This Advent will be received in the form of mini skeins. No caking option is available for this.

DIFFERENT BASE, DIFFERENT RESULTS:

Each fibre blend is different and therefore takes the colour in a different way. SuperWash yarns (SW) will be more vibrant than Non-SuperWash (NSW). 
The difference are very subtle, mostly in vibrance of colours, but please take it into account before ordering! Each base is different, and each batch is, even with the perfect recipe :)

RETURNS: 

This is a special listing. Similar to club colourways, there is no guarantee that you will like the colours of each minis. The photos attached in this listing are here to offer you a colour guide. 
Refund will only be available up to October 2023, if you have had a change in circumstance and need your money back. NO RETURN OR REFUND once the items have been shipped.
